UPDATE - Emergency Statement on August 17, 2019 Weather Event

Thank you First Responders, Emergency Services and Borough Public Works, the evening of Saturday, August 17, 2019 was unexpected and difficult. Once again Millvale has pulled through, clean-up continues, all power has been restored and all residential roads are open. 

Millvale Riverfront Park beyond the Public Works building remains closed to all vehicular, pedestrian and bike traffic as clean-up continues. At this time the Borough cannot offer a reopening date.

If you notice downed utility lines EXCERCISE CAUTION, DO NOT APPROACH OR TOUCH, CALL 911 immediately.

Street Cleaning is cancelled for the remainder of the week as Borough staff will be clearing trees, catch basins and any debris in the creek.

The Borough Crew CANNOT remove trees or debris on private property, if you have downed trees or utility lines call 911 to report.

Permit Fees for storm damage repairs will be waived, permits must be filed and approved before work begins.
