Allegheny Alerts is a community notifcation system that provides information on important topics. The service sends alerts by email, text message and phone call. Anyone can sign up for a free account in just a few simple steps:
- Go to www.alleghenycounty.us/alerts and click on “Sign Up.”
- Select a username and password, and then click “Create Your Account.”
- Click “Edit” on “My Profile” and choose the way you want to receive alerts by entering your information, such as email address, mobile phone, home phone, text message number, and so forth. When finished, click “Save.”
- Click “Edit” on “My Subscriptions” and choose the topics you want to receive, such as “COVID-19 Vaccination Information.” There are many alert topics, so select all the ones you want. When finished, click “Save.”
You can change your alert topics and contact information at any time by logging into your account – so make sure to remember your username and password!
