The Borough of Millvale operates under the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code, the Property Maintenance Code was adopted through Ordinance No. 2190.

The Borough operates under the 2009 International Fire Code, 2012 International Building Code and Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code adopted through Ordinance No. 2258.
