Millvale Borough Council held its monthly Council WorkshopTuesday, June 2, 2020 at 5 PM. In keeping with Commonwealth Act 15 the meeting was held remotely. For additional information click HERE. Council will hold the June 9, 2020 Meeting Remotely, 5 pm in the Millvale Community Center. Council will hold the July 7, Workshop Remotely, 5 pm in the Millvale Community Center and the Regular meeting Remotely July 14, 5 pm in the Millvale Community Center.

Borough Staff will be available during the office hours of, M-F, 9 AM - 4 PM. Borough Office remains closed, an intercom is available at the frontdoor for questions, dropbox in front of building can be used for payments.  

Police and Fire Departments continue to institute procedural modifications for officer and responder safety, no changes have or will occur in service or response time. As always call 911 with any emergency.

No changes to utilities at this time. Waste Mangements revised pick-up information can be found HERE.

Public Works employees are working regular shifts. To report an issue please call the Borough office.

Rentals Millvale Borough has cancelled all rentals through July 1, 2020. Additionally, no rentals will be reserved during this time. With the uncertainty of the coming months Millvale Borough will not guarantee any rental made in calendar year 2020. Reservations, once accepted will be subject to cancellation per Federal, Commonwealth, County and or Borough discretion or order. As such, the Borough will refund all deposits and payments with the exception of a $10 processing fee. Millvale looks forward to working with you on your upcomming rental.

Allegheny County Burning Restrictions - Allegheny County has asked residents to refrain from burning during the pandemic. Information can be found HERE.

Zoning department is operating by email and phone. Building permit applications are accepted by email or in the buildings dropbox. All additional permitting is subject to modification based on the County, Commonwealth and Federal guidelines. Inspection Request Covid

Shaler Area School District continues to offer free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch, available for pick-up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northern Area Boys and Girls Club, 100 Howard Street, in Millvale (the former Holy Spirit Parish School).
