The Borough is aware that residents had received sewer invoices around when the invoices were due to be paid or have not yet received their current bill. The issue is associated with United States Postal Service delivery. Jordan Tax Service is aware of the problem and will work with Borough residents affected by the delayed delivery. The Borough will provide updates if necessary.

As a result of prior delivery delays, Jordan Tax Service will not assess late fees for sewer bills that had a due date in February, 2021. Jordan Tax Service has met with USPS officials to address unsatisfactory performance in recent months. USPS acknowledged their failure and took steps to minimize issues in the future. To avoid any future potential delays in delivery, all residents are encouraged to consider registering for the eBilling service offered by Jordan Tax Service. This service allows customers to receive bills via email instead of postal mail, automatically debits your payment amount on time each month, maintains a record of past bills and payments, and eliminates your reliance upon the USPS for timely delivery of your bill.
