Happy New Year from the Borough of Millvale!

2018 brings an exciting year for the Borough of Millvale! We are excited to see the progress that is going on in town, with new businesses opening and current businesses thriving and the progress on the Natural Play Area at the Millvale Riverfront Park. In addition to all of the exciting progress, The Borough also celebrates its sesquicentennial, which basically means we have been a borough for 150 years!

We would like to formally introduce to you our new Mayor, Brian Spoales. Mr. Spoales previously served on the Millvale Borough Council. He was sworn in at the Council Reorganization meeting on January 2 by the Honorable Daniel Koneczka.

Millvale Police Chief Tim Komoroski was also officially sworn in as Chief of Police.

Council President James Machajewski and Council Vice-President Albert Atkinson were re-nominated for Council President and Vice-President, respectively, and were sworn in to serve our community for another 4 years. Councilman Jack Varley was also sworn in to serve our community at the meeting, as well as Millvale Borough Tax Collector J. Scott Davis.

At the January 9 Council meeting, Mr. Paul Bossung was appointed to serve on Borough Council as our new councilman. Welcome, Councilman Bossung!
