Millvale Borough contracts with an independent Code Consulting group to provide provide complete inspection services and construction document review in accordance with the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC).

PERMIT BASICS

In the interest of protecting the health, safety and property value of Millvale residents and property owners, Millvale Borough requires building permits to be issued prior to work on your property or structure. As part of the permit requirement a final inspection will be completed by the code enforcement officer. Anyone moving to Millvale must also apply for an occupancy permit. This applies to renters, and commercial leasors as well. Please contact the code enforcement officer prior to moving in.

ZONING ORDINANCE HANDBOOK

Zoning ordinance handbooks are avaliable at the Millvale Borough Office for $2.50.

ZONING HEARING BOARD

In accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Millvale has a Zoning Hearing Board. The board also hears appeals. Board members: Eileen Cinski, Patrica Kypta.
