RULES

No product will be sold, distributed or bagged by customer until 2:30 pm.

| You are not allowed to touch or set aside produce until 2:30 pm. |

| In case of severe weather (THUNDER-LIGHTNING), the Market will be held indoors at the Millvale Community Center (416 Lincoln Avenue). Sign up for email notification or check www.millvalepa.com for updates. |

MISSION

To promote the sale of Pennsylvania-grown farm products;

| To improve the variety, freshness, taste and nutritional value of produce available in the Millvale area; |
| |
| To provide an educational forum for consumers to learn the uses and benefits of quality, locally grown or prepared food products; |
| |
| To enhance the quality of life in Millvale by providing a community activity which fosters social gathering and interaction; and |
| |
| To promote sustainability by encouraging Millvale residents to buy local and grow their own. |

WHAT WILL I DO?
|
|

| Display produce |
| Lift produce boxes (15 Pd) only able-bodied volunteers will be asked to lift boxes. |
| Customer service |
|
Volunteers will be awarded a credit stipend to purchase produce at the Millvale FarmStand. To be eligible volunteers must work at least 5 hours per month. Volunteer stipends will be given out in August and September.

| What do we need? |
Friendly hardworking volunteers that is willing to work 2.5-hour shifts.
