Millvale Borough, the Millvale Borough Development Corporation and the Millvale Focus Group completed the 2010 CleanSweep with the help of over 40 volunteers who braved the rain. Volunteers from the Element Church, Millvale Matters, United Church of Christ, Christ Luthern Church, Girl Scout Troop, Shaler School District and the numerous residents spent a Saturday getting dirty and wet and we love you for it. Thanks for your effortts!!!

WHAT DO I NEED
|
|
Millvale Borough and Allegheny CleanWays will provide gloves, bags and vests for volunteers. Brooms, shovels and other tools will be provided on a limited basis. If you can bring gloves or a broom and/or shovel, it would be greatly appreciated. Through the hard work of the Millvale Assessment Team, dumpsters will be provided for the cleanup.

WHAT TO DO ON THE 7th
|
|
The Clean Sweep will begin with check in at 8:30 am, the clean up will begin at 9 am cleanups will run to 12 p.m. Immediately following the clean up volunteers are invited to a Clean Sweep party at the riverfront park from 12-1:30 pm. Music, food and drink will be provided through Millvale businesses.
